NERIC’s comprehensive Hosted E-mail service helps school districts manage their email
needs in a secure, effective and cost-efficient way. This service helps districts cut costs as well as lessen the administrative responsibilities associated with maintaining a district-based email solution. By utilizing NERIC to provide hosted e-mail services, districts no longer need to maintain the hardware and software currently in place within the district.

The hosted e-mail servers at NERIC would allow district users to access their e-mail on any in-district computer desktop, or via Web Access from any internet-accessible workstation.

In addition, NERIC provides anti-spam and anti-virus protection for district users and performs daily backups to ensure data is secure. NERIC’s E-mail Archiving and E-mail SPAM Protection services are both bundled with the Hosted Email service creating a comprehensive Communications service.
