
NERIC unveils 'Service Desk'

Until recently, school districts and BOCES staff in
need of troubleshooting help to resolve a technical problem would have to
call the NERIC Help Desk. That was then; now, when an issue with technology
arises, chances are the NERIC Service Desk is already aware of the problem
and is working to address it.

Tech Awareness Day 2012 is Friday, December 14
NERIC's annual ed-tech showcase will take place on
Friday, December 14, 2012 at the Holiday Inn on Wolf Road in Albany.
Educators will again demonstrate the many ways they are using the latest
technology tools in the classroom to enhance K-12 instruction.
New this year: NERIC will offer a session on grant writing! This new
offering is a direct result of feedback NERIC received on surveys collected
during Tech Awareness Day 2011. Check back regularly for registration and
vendor information.
