SharePoint enables people to make better-informed decisions by presenting business-critical information in one central location. It is a safe secure website for students, staff and administrators.

	Board of Education Members are Going Green
	Several Area School Boards have gone paperless
	Board Members are setting the example of Going Green! When the Capital Region BOCES Board of Education arrives at their monthly Board Meeting, they are greeted with laptops instead of stacks of paper. SharePoint allows districts the ability to post the Board Agenda and all supporting documents in a secure online portal. BOE members are then able to login from anyplace they have an Internet connection and review the information prior to the meeting. This no longer requires the photocopying of huge amounts of paper and courier services to deliver them.

	Tech Valley High School Students Will be using SharePoint in September
	When students return to Tech Valley High School they won't just have a new location, they will have a brand new Project Based Learning Portal. After months of working together with the staff of Tech Valley High, NERIC has created a project based learning environment for the school.
